For more than a decade and a half there was a big hole in the world of extreme metal.
Fans of the legendary Liverpool group, Carcass, feared the dream was over. But then late in 2013, after 17 long, album-less years, Carcass – like a fire-breathing dragon – spit Surgical Steel out into the metal world. And all was right once again.
Now riding high on Nuclear Blast’s number one album of the year 2013, Carcass is out on The Decibel Magazine Tour, their first sustained domestic tour in five years, ripping things up with fellow heavy-hitters, The Black Dahlia Murder, Gorguts, Noisem, and Murmur.
And on Saturday, April 5, this Goliath-sized show will be mushroom-clouding Chicago’s House of Blues.
Doors open at 6 P.M. and show time is 6:20 for this 17+ show.
