Indianapolis has another full month of cycling this June with events almost every weekend. Here are just a few of the events you can look forward to.
22nd Annual B&O Bicycle Tour, begins at 7am, on Saturday, June 7 2014
The ride starts from Williams Park, 940 South Locust Lane, Brownsburg, Indiana
The B&O Ride is coincides with National Trails Day. The 22nd Annual B&O Bicycle Tour sponsored by Hendricks Regional Health. Riders can choose from four ride lengths, 10-25-45 or 62 miles. Rides can enjoy homemade refreshments at rest stops along the way, and the ride includes a BBQ lunch and live music at the finish.

The 6th Annual Indianapolis Mayor’s Bike Ride is Saturday, June 7, 2014. Registration opens a at 9am at the Indy Bike Hub YMCA – 242 East Market Street, Indianapolis 46204. The 10 to 11 mile ride witll start at 10am.
Join Mayor Greg Ballard for the 2014 Mayor’s Bike Ride. This ride starts at the City Market and features Indy’s Near Northside. Bike safety information, children’s bike helmets, door prizes, and snacks will be available for participants. FREE T-shirts will be provided to the first 200 participants that register! The America Diabetes Association is hosting the annual Indianapolis Tour De Cure fund raising ride on
Saturday, June 21, 2014. The even is again held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, 4790 W 16th St Indianapolis, IN 46222
Participants can ride as many (or few) laps on the surface of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the like. Two rest stops are located on the track with water, electrolytes, fruit and snacks. Lunch is provided post-ride at the IMS garages. The registration Fee: $25.00 with a Fundraising Minimum of $200.00 The available route distances include Family/Fun Ride, 50K, 75K, 100 Mile. And of course, the biggest cycling event of the summer is The N.I.T.E. Ride (Navigate Indy This Evening) is Saturday, June 28, with Registration Opening at 4 PM, and an 11pm Ride Start. This is a fee ride, with registration required.
The ride start is on the IUPUI campus at Carroll Stadium, 1001 W New York St, Indianapolis, IN 46202.
The N.I.T.E. Ride starts at 11:00 pm (at night) from IUPUI’s Carroll Stadium on New York Street, travels along well-lit roads through Downtown Indianapolis, the Indiana Statehouse, Monument Circle, Butler University, Indianapolis Museum of Art, wanders along the White River and through the IUPUI Campus. The N.I.T.E. Ride is presented by the Central Indiana Bicycle Association (cibaride.org).
