Sasha Roiz (Tom), Jenny Mollen (Abbey), Dominic Bogart (Anthony), Richard Riehle (Father Riley), Nick Jameson (Richard), Rodney Eastman (Eric), Frank Ashmore (Martino), Brad Culver (Garrett), Sara Tomko (Minnie).
Extracted launches pretty well with some good plot setup and character background. The movie starts getting interesting at about the 20 minute mark and throws in a bit more excitement later on. Between plot points the film remains fairly interesting as Tom works the problem to try and extract himself from the criminal mind in which he is stuck. Wrapping up with a few twists the ending is nicely done.
Acting was decent from Roiz and Mollen. Bogart did a nice job in his role with good energy and realism. The remainder of the supporting cast was solid and fairly interesting.
Camera work, sets, and backgrounds were all nicely done and complimentary to the storyline. Physical effects were minimal but good. Dialogue was enjoyable and entertaining. Sound and soundtrack were both good.
Overall Extracted is an interesting sci-fi thriller with a somewhat unique plot and solid delivery of energy. Sci-fi thriller fans should enjoy this one while those insisting a film be reality based may be disappointed.
With some violence and foul language, save this one for the oldest teens and above.
