Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Saturday May 17, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest reports within this list do not reflect the actual guilt or innocence of the individual or individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest or charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or an acquittal will be determined by the court system.
The following individuals were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.
Matthew Thomas Bollen, 27, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with theft by shoplifting. Bollen was released on 5/18 after posting an $800 property bond. See also (6/6/2011) (1/9/2011) (1/27/2010)
Kevin Lee Kines, 20, of Rome was arrested and charged with theft by shoplifting. Kines was released the same day after posting an $800 property bond. See also (2/3/2012)
Mardoquez Gonzales Mendes, 25, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving without a license and following too closely. Mendes was released the same day after posting a $700 property and a $90 cash bond.
Hagan Anthony Morris, 40, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and a warrant for failure to appear in probate court. Morris was released the same day after posting a $1,200 property bond and a $125 cash bond.
Randy Harold Womack, 47, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with DUI, open container violation and fleeing or attempting to elude police. Womack was released the same day after posting property bonds totaling $5,180.
Kerry Waymond Wood, 25, of Buchanan was arrested and charged with driving while license withdrawn and speeding. Wood was released on 5/19 after posting property bonds totaling $1,760. See also (8/9/2012) (4/26/2012) (traffic stop yields drugs) (1/8/2012)
