Issue 2 – the “NAMM 2014” issue of ROCKwell UnScene MUSIC Magazine is being released Monday March 3, 2014 at brick and mortar locations around the country and online at http://www.ROCKwellUnScene.com . This quarterly print edition features over 20 pages of coverage of this years annual NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) trade only (not open to the public) convention. Highlights include new products and company profiles along with the after parties including; Randy Rhoads Remembered & Bonzo Bash Tribute shows, plus concerts by Lizzy Borden, Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel, Queensryche, Uli Jon Roth, & the Gig Boss “Pop goes Punk” show at the House of Blues, Anaheim.
ROCKwell UnScene MUSIC Magazine Issue 2 has much more to offer than just coverage of NAMM 2014. Contributing Columnist Aaron Rossi (Drummer from the band Ministry) and his girlfriend Mandi Martyr give readers a behind the scenes look at the Grammy’s as no one else could. Mikael Maglieri, owner of the world famous Whisky A Go Go gives an exclusive interview about the 50th Anniversary about the iconic Hollywood, CA venue and talks about his personal stories involving Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, & other famous people and bands. Michael Black, lead singer for the ultra hard Groove Metal Band Black Oil & owner of Dead Sea Records contributes 2 pages from his upcoming book “Falling Forward – life in metal band” that addresses his falling into a life of drug addiction and then getting out. The 2013 ROCKwell UnScene MUSIC Magazine Icon award recipient Mandy Lion gives his advice to young musicians about music schools. More columns from Jason Tyler (ADHD Entertainment), Kelly Jones (aka Firechild), Kevin Reye (lead guitarist for White Lie), and Tony Lepre (lead guitarist for PAID & Critical Mass) contribute their thoughts about NAMM and the music industry. Photographers Dana Osgood (Cruella Photography), Jaymz Floyd Eberly (Eberly Photography), & Jack Lue also contribute their immense talents.
