Girls and boys ages 5 through 14 in the Pasadena area who want to improve their football skills can sign up for the Rose Bowl Game Youth Football Clinic. The clinic will be held on Saturday, June 28 from 9 a.m. to noon at Robinson Park, Pasadena. Check-in time is 8 a.m.
This is the fifth year of the Rose Bowl Game clinic. Northwestern Mutual, the new presenting sponsor of the Rose Bowl Game, is the host for the event.
College football coaches from local universities lead participants in agility drills, offensive and defensive training and character development. The clinic is free and lunch is provided. Youth must be registered at www.rosebowlgameyouthclinic.com by Monday, June 23. The number of participants is limited to 325; last year, 260 registered.
Robinson Park is located at 1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave., Pasadena, between Mountain St. and Washington Blvd. There are bleachers along the field, so parents may stay and watch. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
