“Teen Wolf” season 3 is almost over, and one hero is going to fall before it is, but will it be Stiles? On Friday, Feb. 28, MTV released a new extended promo for episode 21, “The Fox and the Wolf,” suggesting that there may only be one way to save him – and it’s one that Scott’s not willing to accept.
The synopsis of this next “Teen Wolf” episode reads, “An important clue is revealed in the story of a World War II internment camp; Kira’s role is more crucial, and she discovers unusual abilities.”
The last episode, “Echo House,” ended with the nogitsune in control, Malia leaving Eichen House behind to go see Scott, Isaac’s status still unknown, Argent getting the worst visit ever from his “lawyer” and Deaton declaring that they needed to change Stiles’ body, meaning the bite.
Now, this new “The Fox and the Wolf” promo is almost all about nogitsune Stiles, who’s being very creepy in Derek’s loft and a classroom, and if there’s a way to save him. In Kira’s mother’s opinion, there isn’t. “You want to save Stiles? Kill him. That’s the only way.” Scott’s not about to kill his best friend, so he’s not about to hop on board with her plan, but Kira’s father agrees with his wife and warns Scott, “Sometimes history does repeat itself.” The nogitsune’s history is one they definitely don’t want to repeat because the last thing Beacon Hills needs is a slaughter. Hasn’t this town been through enough?
The other part of this promo to note is what’s going on with Allison. She hasn’t exactly been front and center in season 3B (which happens if you spend a lot of time sleeping with your phone off?), but it looks like everything’s going to be getting to her, and Sheriff Stilinski is the one who’s there when she lets it all out. “I don’t know if Isaac is dying right now. I don’t know if I made a mistake with Scott. I don’t know what my dad is thinking. I don’t know if we should trust Derek,” she admits to him. However, too many things don’t seem to add up about her at the moment, so it’s hard not to wonder if this could be part of a manipulation of some sort (especially after what we see of her in the mid-season trailer). This could still be Allison, but maybe something happens to her to explain that strange scene with Scott at the end of the trailer. And where exactly is Allison at the 0:31 mark?
“Teen Wolf” season 3 airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on MTV. What do you think of this extended “The Fox and the Wolf” sneak peek?
