Do your manicures end up messy whenever you attempt to paint your nails? If you want to easily achieve a mess-free manicure, Liquid Palisade may be a great product for you.
Liquid Palisade by Kiesque is like painter’s tape for nails. It provides a protective barrier that protects the cuticles/skin during nail polish application. It can also be applied to create trendy nail art designs.
I gave Liquid Palisade a try and I am very impressed with how well it works. I can definitely see this product as a go-to for nail art beginners, or anyone who has any difficulty neatly applying polish. Here’s a little more information on exactly what Liquid Palisade is and how I used it to achieve a manicure with negative space nail art designs.
About the product
Liquid Palisade is the perfect nail product for creating quality at-home manicures. It’s especially helpful when it comes to painting with your non-dominant hand. You can apply Liquid Palisade, and after applying your nail polish, remove the Liquid Palisade to reveal perfectly painted nails.
Bottle and brush
Liquid Palisade comes in a small, cylindrical shaped bottle. When the top is screwed off, the brush is revealed. In size and shape, the brush is similar to a nail art tool. Small and thin, perfect for maintaining complete control of where the product goes and for creating fine lines and shapes
Liquid Palisade is easy to apply and comes to a moldable, rubber-like finish once it is thoroughly dried. I applied Liquid Palisade to the areas of my nails that I wanted to remain polish free. In approximately 5 minutes it dried completely.
Polishing after Liquid Palisade
Next, I simply painted over my nails with the polish of my choice. Even though I used a dark colored polish, I was still able to see the outline of the Liquid Palisade applications beneath the polish. This made the removal process very simple.
Once the polish dried completely, I used a pair of tweezers to gently remove the Liquid Palisade from my nails. It peeled off very easily and created clean, mess-free designs.
Completed manicure and overall thoughts
After removing Liquid Palisade from my nails, I added a bit of extra detailing to complete my manicure. Depending on the type of manicure you are creating, this step may not be needed.
Overall, I really enjoyed using Liquid Palisade. It was quick, easy and efficient. To become more familiar with Liquid Palisade and for fun tutorials, check out #liquidpalisade on Instagram.
