Next to Perimeter Mall in a semi-suburban area, the Dunwoody MARTA station isn’t as walkable as Decatur or Midtown, where you have a choice of numerous places to eat. However, there are a few restaurants nearby if you get hungry while shopping at Perimeter Mall. See below for your options, with the closest places to eat listed first.
Perimeter Mall Food Court
The mall’s food court next to the station has a variety spots to get a quick bite to eat including Chipotle, Chick-fil-A and Subway. Keep to the right after exiting the fare gate to reach the pedestrian walkway to the mall.
A fun Tex Mex experience, Chuy’s has burritos as big as your face plus tacos, enchiladas and other classic dishes. Follow signs “To Mall” after exiting the fare gate. Turn left at street level and walk along the rail line through the parking lot to reach the restaurant.
Tin Lizzy’s Cantina
Across the street from Chuy’s is Tin Lizzy’s, another Tex Mex watering hole. Enjoy the patio and live music.
On the far end of the mall is the Cheesecake Factory. Walk through the mall instead of around it for the shortest commute and turn left out the mall doors.
Next door to the Cheesecake Factory you’ll find Goldfish. As the name suggests, seafood and sushi are on the menu along with steak, soup and salad.
Maggiano’s Little Italy
Also on the far side of the mall near the Cheesecake Factory is Maggino’s. Choose from classic Italian dishes in family-friendly atmosphere, Turn right out of the mall.
The Capital Grille
On the north side of the mall, Capital Grille is an upper-scale steakhouse with fine wines, artisan food and the option for a four-course meal. Keep right after exiting the fare gate and follow the signs to the mall. At street level, turn left and walk around the mall. The restaurant is in front of Dillard’s.
For fine dining with a piano bar, head to Seasons 52. The restaurant is next to Capital Grille and offers group dining.
McD’s has you covered for a burger, fries, nuggets or breakfast sandwich . Keep walking around the mall past Season’s 52 and turn left on Ashford Dunwoody Road.
Sage Woodfire Tavern
Across from the mall off of Ashford Dunwoody Road is the contemporary American restaurant Sage Woodfire Tavern. There’s a patio and live Latin music. Walk straight through the mall, exiting near Maggiano’s, and cross the street.
Eclipse di Luna
A Latin tapas spot, Eclipse di Luna is next to Sage. You’ll also find live Latin music here and DJs on Sunday.
This restaurant is also across from the mall and next to Eclipse di Luna. It is known for quality service and comfortable atmosphere.
End your Dunwoody excursion at Cafe Intermezzo, where you’ll find plenty of drinks, coffees, desserts along with an international lunch and dinner menu next to McKendrick’s.
